Josh Underbakke

Pastor

josh@hope-fellowship.com

Josh has been a pastor at Hope Fellowship for 11 years, ten of those years as the youth pastor. God called Josh from that ministry into the Sr. Pastor role a year ago, and since then it has been an exciting time for Hope Fellowship. Josh credits his pastor and friend Don Bishop, the former pastor of Hope Fellowship, for teaching, and instructing him in ministry style, preaching style,  love for God, and love for others.  Josh is overwhelmed by the many blessing that happened over those many years.

Josh brings a lot of passion and energy to everything he does, and this is evident in his ministry during the week, and preaching on Sundays.  He will be quick to tell you that God can use people in their weaknesses, and that he is evidence of that.

Josh has a wonderful wife of 8 years (Alison) and two young boys, (Grant and Joey).  He loves his family, and see them as a huge blessing.  Josh is a real guys guy.  He loves competing in any sport.  He also enjoys old cars, snowmobiles and go-karts.  Much of this came from his upbringing on a Farm in Iowa.

Josh loves the Lord and enjoys sharing his heart with people.  His life is ministry as he volunteers in coaching high schoolers, volunteering in the community days events, and connects with local pastors weekly.

It’s Josh’s desire that you who are reading this that you will know that you are loved and that you are able to be used by God.

Matthew 5:16- In the same way let your light so shine before men that they may see your good deed and praise your Father who is in heaven.

Tyler Roland

Youth Minister

tyler@hope-fellowship.com

Tyler started as Youth Minister January 1st 2011! Tyler graduated a home school kid, and darn proud of it! Tyler also graduated from Northwestern College.

Tyler is married to his high school sweetheart, Laura. She is an amazing woman who loves youth and kids as much as Tyler does. They were married July of 2011.

Aside from youth ministry Tyler works for the Anoka Hennepin School District. Tyler is a passionate, loud and energetic person, but first and foremost loves God with everything in him.

In his free time Tyler enjoys playing guitar, watching movies and drinking Dunn Brothers coffee. Tyler also loves sports. He is a huge Twins, Vikings and Wild fan. He also loves to play softball, soccer, football, and taking down students with his massive muscles! (This last part might be a fabrication)

Tyler has a passion to see the lost students of our world know the hope that is Christ, as well as the students of the church grow in a deeper understanding of who Christ is. Tyler is convinced that we live in a world that thinks there is no hope. We as Christians have this hope and it is our calling to share that with everyone we come in contact with.

1st John 4:19 We love because HE first loved us!
